When it comes to college football, especially college football bowl parlay bets there are few who deserve the “expert” tag quite like Barrett Sallee.
We got you covered for the College Bowl Games
The CBS Sports writer and analyst hosts shows on SiriusXM College, writes for CBSSports.com and appears regularly on CBS Sports HQ as well as countless radio shows across the nation as a guest.
Sallee debuted with SportsLine in 2017 and has delivered in a BIG way. He went 59-35-2 (63 percent, plus $2,037) on all his college football picks for SportsLine in 2019, and he enters Saturday on a sizzling 72-43 streak on his best bets since the start of last year. Anybody who has been following him is WAY UP.
Now, he’s turned his attention to the college football bowl odds from William Hill Sportsbook (see the latest college football lines for each game this week on our college football odds page) and is revealing his three top plays for Dec. 26. A parlay on these three picks would return 6-1.
We can tell you Sallee is taking the Under 56 in the matchup between Louisiana and UTSA in the 2020 First Responder Bowl at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

“The Under has hit seven out of 10 times for both of these teams,” Sallee told SportsLine. “The Ragin’ Cajuns are giving up just 4.76 yards per play and the Roadrunners haven’t given more than 401 yards in any of their last six games. Billy Napier’s Cajuns crew might be excited because their coach re-committed to the program, but not enough to make this a shootout.”
Sallee has also found two other college football picks he loves, including a play on an underdog that’s not getting enough credit! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any college football picks.
Here are Barrett Sallee’s picks and write-ups for bowl games on Dec. 26 (picks posted on Dec. 24):

UNDER 50.5
LENDINGTREE BOWL — The Under has hit in six of Georgia State’s nine games, and its defense finished third in the Sun Belt in yards per play since the start of November (5.12). Western Kentucky’s defense finished third in Conference USA in the same metric (4.99). Toss in what should be chilly weather and you have the recipe for a low-scoring slugfest.
LIBERTY @ C. CAROLINA | 12/26 | 7:30 PM ET
LIBERTY +7.5

CURE BOWL — The Chanticleers got left out of a New Year’s Six bowl game, but landed in one of the most fascinating bowl games of the season against Liberty — a regular season game that was canceled earlier this year. The quarterbacks in this game, Malik Willis for Liberty and Grayson McCall for Coastal, are two of the best in Group of Five. The Chants will likely win the battle on the line of scrimmage and, thus, the game. But the Flames’ offense is way to explosive to lay more than a touchdown.
LOUISIANA @ UT-SAN ANTONIO | 12/26 | 3:30 PM ET
UNDER 56

LIBERTY @ C. CAROLINA
FIRST RESPONDER BOWL — The Under has hit seven out of 10 times for both of these teams. The Ragin’ Cajuns are giving up just 4.76 yards per play and the Roadrunners haven’t given more than 401 yards in any of their last six games. Billy Napier’s Cajuns crew might be excited because their coach re-committed to the program, but not enough to make this a shootout.
